Sorry for the late reply about the lapel microphone. I had a conference this weekend. I really like Shure for audio needs. I am impressed with their border microphone (a multi-directional microphone for board meetings or large group meetings). You do have to purchase the correct plug in adapter to go with most of their equipment because they may be used directly with computers or plugged into regular microphone jacks. For lapel mics, they have an inexpensive (relative to quality) mic setup with their UHP. I have included some sites, but shop around for the best price, knowing that you may need to get an audio store to set up the adapters for you: http://www.americanmusical.com/ItemSearch--search-Shure-Lapel-Microphone--srcin-1?src=Y0802G00SRCHCAPN&gclid=CKCRz4b13ZUCFRZZiAodpU9ZWw I have used the PGX14 and am pleased with the quality. Keep in mind, you still need the speakers/PA system.
